Job summary

Xcel Energy, a leading energy provider, is seeking a Fleet Turbine Engineer to own fleet-wide turbine systems, perform outages analysis, and guide technical solutions. This hybrid role requires coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and Regulatory teams, with opportunities for growth across staff, senior, and principal levels.

The role emphasizes system ownership, performance accountability, and mentoring, with a base pay range highlighted and a path toward advanced engineering

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree is required.
• 2+ years' relevant engineering experience.
• EIT/FE strongly preferred.
• PE registration may be required depending on business need.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical standards and theories to complex design issues.
• Develop technical documentation, calculations, and design standards.
• Provide field engineering oversight for commissioning, testing, and inspections.
• Lead small to medium projects and mentor less experienced engineers.
