Addison Group seeks an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal in Chicago to support probate, estate and fiduciary matters. The role collaborates with attorneys, clients, beneficiaries, trustees and courts, handling multiple matters with strong organizational skills.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5+ years of paralegal experience, a relevant degree or certificate, and proficiency in probate filings, with a client-service mindset and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Trusts & Estates paralegal experience, preferably within a law firm.
• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
• Proficiency with probate filings and estate administration.
• Familiarity with state probate procedures and e-filing systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support probate and estate administration from opening to final resolution.
• Draft probate petitions, inventories, notices, and court filings.
• Coordinate with courts, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and financial institutions.
• Maintain organized electronic case files and docketing.
• Assist with trust funding, asset transfers, and distributions.
