Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Trial Attorney for a hybrid role in our Boston, MA office. The attorney will represent commercial insureds in moderate to high complexity General Liability and Commercial Auto cases, requiring strong trial and negotiation skills.

The role requires a Juris Doctor and 5+ years in Insurance Litigation, plus active Massachusetts Bar membership. Remote team collaboration via video conferences will be involved. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and 5+ years in Insurance Litigation.
• Active MA Bar Association member in good standing.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and Adobe.
• Experience with Lexis or Westlaw.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation.
• Knowledge of the law and procedure.

Responsibilities

• Represent insureds in General Liability and Commercial Auto cases.
• Prepare and file pleadings; conduct legal research.
• Prepare for and conduct pre-trial discovery; handle hearings and trials.
• Work with remote teams via video conferencing and other computer-based systems.
