Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a Treasury Coordinator in Hoffman Estates, IL, a hybrid position supporting cash management, banking relations, and client account setup.

You will process transfers, reconcile banking activity, maintain documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. The role emphasizes analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-2 years in treasury/banking/finance operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with banking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review, process and respond to Treasury requests via CRM tickets.
• Open, fund, and close bank accounts for management clients.
• Prepare and analyze banking documents containing client information.
• Coordinate with banking partners to open, fund, close accounts and resolve issues.
• Ensure new accounts are set up in accounting platforms and share info with local Treasury Departments.
• Process daily electronic transfers (ACH, wires, internal transfers).
• Monitor daily cash activity, funding, and discrepancies.
• Assist with forecasting cash needs and liquidity.
• Maintain Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheet and other databases.
• Ensure supporting docs submitted and expenses approved monthly.
• Work with internal teams to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Assist with SOP development and maintenance.
• Participate in special projects and other treasury tasks.
