Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to support North American treasury operations, including daily cash management, banking administration, insurance and risk management, and compliance reporting. The role partners with internal teams and external banks to strengthen liquidity visibility and control over payments.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset with ability to reconcile data and identify discrepancies.
• Strong communication of findings to internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and adhere to internal controls.
• Experience with banking portals, ERP systems or treasury reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and set daily cash positions; support short-term liquidity visibility.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate wire and ACH activity per approval protocols.
• Assist with bank data uploads and ensure accurate integration into treasury systems.
• Review bank analysis fees; identify cost-control opportunities.
• Maintain bank account inventory and assist with signer documentation and account maintenance.
• Support insurance allocations, budgeting, and invoicing with internal/external partners.
• Track insurance claims and maintain status information for management review.
• Manage certificates of insurance and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist with FBAR and other treasury-related compliance activities.
• Prepare recurring treasury reports and contribute to process improvement projects.
