Job summary

Australia-Employment is seeking a Transportation Project Manager for a permanent hybrid role in Indianapolis, IN. You will lead design and delivery of road, highway, and transit projects, coordinating with clients, contractors, and agencies, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a PE license, 6+ years of transportation PM experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of transportation engineering and project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation required.
• In-depth knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and guidelines.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in hybrid on-site/remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the design and implementation of transportation projects, ensuring on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Use AutoCAD and MicroStation for design and drafting.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and agencies for smooth execution.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare reports on specs, costs, and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to DOT regulations and guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the project lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers.
