Transportation Project Manager

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of projects, managing client communication, deadlines, deliverables, budgets, and ensuring top‑notch quality.
  • Master project execution from start to finish.
  • Guide and train junior engineers, building the next generation of transportation professionals.
  • Contribute to business development by networking, connecting, and helping win new projects.
  • Lead analysis, design, and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, and reports for our valued clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Perform client communication and reporting, deadline and deliverable management, agency coordination, scope and fee development, and project scheduling and tracking activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or comparable engineering or applied science degree).
  • 4+ years of experience in roadway design.
  • 2+ years of progressive project management experience.
  • Texas Professional Engineering license (or ability to obtain it within 6 months).
  • Strong technical skills in roadway and drainage design.
  • Experience with MicroStation and Open Roads/Open Roads Designer.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on or with the Texas Department of Transportation and understanding their design requirements and/or LGPP projects.
