Job summary

L'Oréal USA, Inc seeks a Transportation Operations Manager to lead a team directing transportation providers, oversee on-time delivery, and drive service, cost and CO improvements across the distribution network in Cranbury, NJ. The role requires experience with TMS and strong communication skills.

You will partner with distribution centers and carriers, monitor KPIs, and contribute to SOPs while balancing customer needs with efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years in logistics/operations.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience; retail/CPG transport preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Working knowledge of TMS and transportation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of operations specialists and supervisors.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to a service organization aligned with company values.
• Oversee transportation execution to meet customer requirements and delivery performance.
• Coordinate with distribution centers, assembly sites, carriers, and planning teams.
• Resolve routing exceptions and shipment delays.
• Monitor systems and reports; coordinate corrective actions with partners.
• Proactively update internal customers about delays and issues.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve service, cost, and CO impact.
