Aston Carter is hiring for a Contract to Hire logistics support role based in Tempe, AZ. The position emphasizes Excel-driven data analysis to manage cross-border freight, drayage, and load visibility within transportation portals.

The role requires independent, fast-paced work with strong communication across internal teams and carriers. The pay is $22.00/hr, with on-site duties and limited remote work on Tuesdays after initial training.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience supporting logistics or transportation operations.
• Experience in account or vendor management is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and high service levels.
• Proactive problem solving in fast-paced environments is essential.
• Strong written communication for chats and emails.
• Ability to work independently on a heavy workload.
• Experience using data to identify trends and root causes.
• Data quality control and large data set handling experience.

Responsabilités

• Oversee cross-border freight movement and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate drayage operations from ports to fulfillment centers.
• Monitor load visibility using Excel and online portals.
• Manage disruptions within transportation portals and resolve issues.
• Run reports to analyze delays and movement issues.
• Track containers and escalate as needed.
• Provide verbal updates and summarize impacts and next steps.
• Conduct deep-dive container data analyses and present findings.
• Use Excel to track containers, including pivots and VLOOKUP.
• Communicate via Chime, Slack, email, and bridge calls.
• Manage an assigned book of business with accurate, timely loads.
• Move containers through supply chain using data-driven insights.
• Apply data management controls to support reporting.
• Collaborate with carriers and vendors to resolve issues.
