CTDOT in Newington, CT seeks a Transportation Engineer 2 (Land Surveying) to support property mapping, right of way mapping, and acquisition tasks. The role collaborates with CTDOT engineers and external consultants to ensure accurate land records and maps. The position is hybrid, first shift, full-time (40 hours/week).

• A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required and must be maintained.
• Applicants must be available to travel.

Responsabilités

• Land records analysis and interpretation.
• Reading and interpreting CTDOT Right of Way maps.
• Preparation of property acquisition and release maps using Bentley ORD CAD software.
• Review of mapping data produced by peers and subordinate staff.
• Preparing and updating procedural workflows.
• Communication with CTDOT engineers, consulting engineers, and other CTDOT employees to facilitate preparation of the aforesaid mapping.
