Job summary

PG&E is seeking a Project/Program Manager to lead the Transmission Line Wildfire Mitigation Program (WMP). You will coordinate ERTC, obtain required permits (Caltrans), and collaborate with Project Controls, Work & Resource Planning, and Construction teams to ensure readiness for work across the North Valley region.

This hybrid role requires strong written and verbal communication to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including environmental teams and contractors, while managing multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business/engineering/finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• PMI-PMP certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage the Transmission Line Wildfire Mitigation Program (WMP) and its dependencies for work execution.
• Coordinate environmental release-to-construction (ERTC), permits (e.g., Caltrans), landing zones, laydown yards and job drawings.
• Collaborate with Project Controls, Work & Resource Planning, Construction Mgmt, M&C Supervisors, and contractors.
• Ensure readiness for work across assigned Headquarters and multiple locations.
• Communicate risks, changes, and issues to management and partners.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or related discipline or equivalent

Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent

PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
