Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a Project/Program Manager for the Transmission Line Wildfire Mitigation Program in a hybrid role. You will manage dependencies, coordination with partners, and environmental release-to-construction processes across multiple locations including Bakersfield and surrounding regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or related discipline or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conducts program management for the Transmission Line Wildfire Mitigation Program with dependencies and environmental and permit coordination.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure permits and environmental releases to construction are obtained.
• Escalates issues to ensure resources are used effectively and risks are communicated to management and partners.
• Works with Caltrans, Railroad, City and County teams for encroachment permits and easements.
• Tracks portfolio of work and dependencies, ensuring drawings and readiness for work.
