Job summary

Southern California Edison seeks a Transmission Project Manager to oversee capital transmission projects from planning through execution. You will lead cross‑functional teams across licensing, engineering, procurement, and construction, coordinating with external customers to align schedules and meet project goals.

You will manage complex projects, perform power flow analyses, and ensure safety and regulatory filings. The role requires CA residence, up to 25% travel, and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in project management.
• Experience working on electric transmission or related infrastructure projects.
• Hybrid work mode in California; relocation not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more moderately complex projects using PM principles, tools, and techniques under time constraints.
• Direct initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure for scope, schedule, and budget independently.
• Lead projects and deliverables by influencing stakeholders and making independent decisions with leadership input.
• Collaborate with peer Project Managers and other departments to drive projects forward.
• Develop and execute plans for transmission/distribution projects, including design, filings, and safety documentation.
• Drive milestones and report on medium to large transmission projects, coordinating with regulators and agencies.
• Perform power flow and fault analysis studies to assess system impacts.
