Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Transmission Project Manager to lead complex capital projects from planning through execution. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across licensing, engineering, procurement, and construction, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and interface with external customers.

As part of the role, you will use project management tools and systems to maintain data, create documentation, and prepare presentations.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in project management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP Certification and/or Project Management Certificate.
• Experience in Planning or Construction, with an Electric Utility.
• Experience reading Construction Maps and Plans.
• Experience in Construction Project Management.
• Experience leading large capital projects, including planning and coordinating multiple deliverables; preparing presentation materials, agendas, and meeting minutes; monitoring and reporting project status; and coordinating activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Experience creating and editing reports, graphs, and presentations, converting information between formats, generating non‑standard reports, and maintaining records, logs, document files, and databases used to monitor, track, and trend project costs, resources, schedules, and status.
• Experience with SharePoint, BI Dashboards, and Data Analytics.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including CoPilot.
• Experience integrating work across functions, manage risks appropriately, develop and execute business plans, distill and communicate information effectively, and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects simultaneously with monitoring status and schedules.
• Oversee initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure for core PM disciplines.
• Direct simple to moderately complex projects to meet team goals.
• Collaborate with other PMs and leadership to drive projects forward.
• Manage planning, development, and execution of transmission/distribution projects.
• Drive milestones and report on projects including regulatory filings and coordination.
• Ensure protection of assets and proper handling of sensitive data.
