Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Transmission Project Manager to oversee the development and delivery of capital transmission projects, interfacing with external customers and cross-functional teams from planning to execution.

The role requires leading schedules, cost control, risk management, and regulatory compliance across the project lifecycle, with up to 25% travel in California and hybrid work from Pomona, CA.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in project management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• PMP Certification and/or Project Management Certificate.
• Experience in Planning or Construction within an Electric Utility.
• Experience reading Construction Maps and Plans.
• Experience leading large capital projects and coordinating multi deliverables.
• Experience with reports, data visualization, and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more moderately complex projects using PM principles, tools, and techniques under time constraints.
• Directs initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Leads projects and delivers on team goals by influencing stakeholders and exercising independent decisions.
• Collaborates with peer PMs and senior leadership to drive projects forward.
• Manages planning, development, and execution of transmission/distribution projects (e.g., wildfire mitigation, upgrades).
• Drives milestones and reports on project status, regulatory filings, and coordination with agencies.
• Performs power flow and fault analyses to determine system impacts and requirements.
• Facilitates development plans, testing procedures, and energization sequences.
• Protects assets and handles sensitive data with the highest standards of conduct.
