Job summary

Aon plc in the UK is seeking a Transition Analyst to gather scheme information, define automated calculation requirements, and liaise with stakeholders. The role sits within our Data Solutions Team and supports pensions administration projects.

You will work on client projects, document requirements, and specify solutions. The role offers hybrid working with potential to work from Birmingham, Glasgow or Sheffield offices, and requires knowledge of DB pension calculations and MS Excel proforma

Qualifications

Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon
Have previous experience of pensions benefit administration
Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects
Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate
Experience in working with MS Excel proforma calculations would be an advantage

Responsibilities

Liaising with stakeholders to gather scheme information and automated calculation requirements
Specifying test matrices to identify applicable test scenarios
Creating test cases for individual member pension calculations
Working with the Calculation Programmer and admin team to ensure calculations are built, tested, and signed off on our admin system
