Job summary

Citi in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Officer, Transfer Agency Analyst - Hybrid to join the Operations - Transaction Services team. You will provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading with derivatives and securities transactions, maintain position records, and assist during peak periods.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, basic accounting knowledge, strong numerical skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting is preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading with derivatives and securities transactions.
• Maintain position records in coordination with trading desk and trade processing functions.
• Support team during peak volume periods and assist onboarding and training of new employees.
• Minimize processing risk and perform root cause analyses of discrepancies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Ensure procedures and audits are updated and maintained across processes.
• Escalate issues promptly and handle client and ad-hoc queries.
