Job summary

Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking a Training Supervisor – 1st Line in the Community Assistance Division. The role leads Trainers and supervises Eligibility Specialists, guiding training from onboarding through live case processing and post-training support.

You will establish performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide coaching to build capacity, improve accuracy, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures across programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of work-related experience in Eligibility Programs or Human Services.
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supervising staff and delivering training to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct supervision to Trainers and supervise Eligibility Specialists during training.
• Establish performance expectations and coach staff to ensure productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Develop training materials, guides, and job aids aligned with policy and system requirements.
• Deliver training in-person and virtually, using engaging facilitation techniques.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations for the training team.
