Edwards, a division of Atlas Copco, seeks a Trade Compliance Specialist to ensure ongoing U.S. export compliance for the VT Business Area. You will review export transactions, including destinations and end-use controls, and manage U.S. license applications.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in U.S. trade compliance, knowledge of EAR/HTSUS, ECCN classification, and the ability to translate regulations into practical guidance for multiple functions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in U.S. trade compliance.
• Working knowledge of EAR, HTSUS, OFAC sanctions programs, and licensing process.
• Experience with HTS classification and ECCN classification.
• Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical guidance for business teams.

Aufgaben

• Ensure ongoing compliance with EAR and sanctions for the VT Business Area.
• Review export transactions, including customer, product, destination, dual use, and end use controls.
• Create, manage, and maintain U.S. export license applications in relevant systems.
• Review and resolve denied party, sanctioned party, and export control holds in systems.
• Escalate potential red flag transactions to the Americas Trade Compliance Manager.
• Collaborate with Customer Care, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, and Finance.
