Job summary

Arrow Electronics seeks an entry-level Trade Compliance Engineer and Analyst to ensure adherence to U.S. export/import laws (EAR/ITAR/OFAC) across cross-functional teams.

You will liaison with internal groups and government offices, determining ECCN classifications and license needs for complex orders. You will review EUCs, perform due diligence, and assist with license applications for select transactions, sometimes supporting inbound/outbound shipments.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree from an accredited school (electrical engineering preferred).
• Ability to read specification sheets and engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Review part specification sheets and ECCN classifications under EAR/ITAR.
• Collect, review and approve EUC and end use statements.
• Determine license requirements for orders on hold; escalate when needed.
• Process government licenses for export/import transactions following regulations.
• Conduct due diligence for partners and transactions as needed.
• Provide import/export clearance support for shipments when required.
• Review and action red-flag reports and restricted party matches.
• Interface with BIS and internal groups across Arrow for compliance.
