Job summary

MTU Maintenance Fort Worth is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist to oversee export and trade compliance, ensuring governance and continuous enhancement of processes supporting contracts. Responsibilities include oversight of controlled goods, export licensing for material and data movements during operations and bids, and compliance with applicable U.S.

and EU regulations, including sanctions, ITAR, EAR, and CCL requirements.

Qualifications

• College degree and experience with export compliance.
• Knowledge of ITAR, EAR and Department of State/Commerce regulations.
• 3–5 years direct export compliance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with SAP GTS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, well-organized, highly motivated for high performance while working independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adapt compliance processes to meet US/EU export regulations.
• Analyze changes in compliance requirements and initiate process changes.
• Ensure compliance with US export laws and approvals for MTU Fort Worth.
• Support export control policies through training programs.
• Lead audits and corrective actions for IT/export compliance.
• Continuously review licensing requirements for daily business.
• Coordinate with MTU Global Export network and liaise with US/EU specialists.
• Collaborate with customs and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain a robust compliance framework.
• Lead internal audits and implementation of export policies.
