Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to manage and execute the company’s import compliance program. The role focuses on classifications, country of origin, tariff applicability, and post‑entry activities, working with brokers and internal partners to ensure a controlled, auditable import environment.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in import trade compliance, strong regulatory knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in import trade compliance, customs operations, or trade compliance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of HTS classifications and COO determinations; familiarity with trade remedy programs.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Determine, maintain, and validate HTS classifications and Country of Origin.
• Maintain and support tariff and trade remedy programs (e.g., Section 232).
• Oversee Customs Broker entry activity, including post‑entry reviews and PSC/PEA actions.
• Maintain import records and support audit readiness through documentation review.
• Analyze ACE reports and reconcile import compliance data; identify gaps and improvements.
• Serve as escalation point for complex or high‑risk compliance issues.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather required information for compliant activity.
• Follow established trade compliance policies and documentation standards.
• Perform other trade compliance duties, projects, and analyses as needed.
