Texas Tech University School of Law Library invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty position with a primary administrative focus on user services. Start date preferred January 2027.

Qualifications

• Required JD from ABA-accredited law school and MLS (or equivalent) from an ALA-accredited grad school by start date.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in teaching, research, and service within a law library setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and administrative leadership for user services.
• Manage user services, develop programs, and evaluate services.
• Lead instructional services, including for-credit courses and workshops.
• Provide reference and research support through rotating teams.
• Supervise and mentor student employees and library staff.
• Participate in collection development, blog posting, and scholarly repository activities.
