Job summary

Qualifications

• Budgeting and financial tracking for sponsored accounts.
• Knowledge of sponsor regulations and university policies.
• Strong coordination with Procurement, HR, payroll and other offices.

Responsibilities

• Track and develop information for sponsored accounts, including budgets, projections of personnel and non-personnel expenses, and account reconciling.
• Monitor burn rates and spending to avoid overspending and ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule.
• Review expenditures for compliance with sponsor requirements and university policies; support reporting and closeout processes.
• Collaborate with the Sponsored Program Accounting Office and other campus offices to prepare budgets and ensure grant management accuracy.
