Job summary

NetCarrier, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust telecom networks that support our voice and data services.

You will ensure high availability and optimal performance across customer and internal networks. The role requires a degree in telecommunications or related field (or 2+ years' experience), plus hands-on router/switch/firewall configuration skills with PFSense/Adtran/Cisco/Ubiquiti.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years related telecom/network experience.
• Experience configuring routers, switches, and firewalls (PFSense/Adtran/Cisco/Ubiquiti).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain telecom network infrastructures supporting voice and data.
• Handle customer circuit ordering, follow-up and deployments.
• Triage Tier 3 escalations; interface with vendors for deployments.
• Monitor performance and resolve latency, throughput, and reliability issues; on-call escalations.
