PCI Federal is seeking a Technical Writer-Editor II to translate engineering jargon into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences. You will manage the full document lifecycle—from outline and interviews to final production—ensuring accuracy, style, and federal compliance.

Responsibilities include developing content for magazines, newsletters, manuals, and research docs; substantive editing; rigorous fact-checking; and ensuring 508 accessibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, communications, journalism, or related technical field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in technical writing, editing, and publishing.
• Expertise with major style guides (GPO and Chicago).
• Ensures Section 508 compliance.

Responsabilités

• Develop and write original content for magazines, newsletters, manuals, and research documents.
• Provide substantive editing and quality assurance across production stages for print and electronic formats.
• Verify technical accuracy through interviews, data checks, and conference attendance.
