Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s Parametric internship program offers hands-on experience in technical product management within asset management. You’ll work with product managers, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to define and deliver client-facing solutions.

The program focuses on client analytics features, data analytics, UX design, agile development, automation, and AI, providing exposure across Parametric and Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

Qualifications

• Junior or rising senior progressing toward a degree in STEM or Finance, with at least two years completed.
• Strong organizational skills, diligence, and attention to detail; deadline-oriented.
• Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with interest in product development and technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with data analysis, visualization, or product development tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Figma, Jira, Azure DevOps) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of client analytics features for a client/sales-facing application, including gathering requirements and documenting user stories.
• Conduct research of user workflows and data to identify opportunities to improve client experience and deliver insights.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
• Assist with feature testing, documenting issues, and supporting delivery of products.
• Create and maintain product documentation, process flows, and project status updates.
• Develop reports, metrics, and analyses to measure feature effectiveness.
• Participate in Agile team activities and contribute to special projects.
