Our team partners with business, product, operations, and technology stakeholders to analyze business needs, document requirements, improve processes, and support the delivery of strategic technology initiatives. We act as the bridge between business users and engineering teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
The team supports enterprise initiatives including business process optimization, digital transformation, data and reporting enhancements, workflow automation, and platform modernization. Analysts work closely with cross-functional teams to understand current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and help design effective future-state solutions.
As a Business Analyst Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting strategic business and technology initiatives. You will work alongside experienced Business Analysts to analyze business processes, gather requirements, document workflows, perform data analysis, and contribute to solution delivery. This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle while developing critical analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
The Parametric internship is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience in financial services. Unlike many programs where interns spend the summer observing, you'll contribute to real projects, collaborate with professionals across the firm, and gain exposure to multiple areas of the business.
Throughout the 10-week program, interns participate in learning sessions, networking opportunities, and professional development events while building connections with peers and colleagues across Parametric and Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
A key component of the internship is a capstone project, where interns work individually or in teams to apply what they've learned and present their work to business leaders at the end of the summer.
