Job summary

Proactive Technology Management (PTM) is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead client engagements from requirements through delivery. This local role requires on-site presence Monday–Thursday in Waterford or Troy, with hybrid remote options and a strong interface between consultants and project managers.

You will guide cross-functional teams of engineers and data specialists, apply Lean UX and C4 architecture, and ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical project management or related leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Lean UX methodologies.
• Experience with Azure (AWS a plus) and cloud data practices.
• Experience with data warehousing, AI/ML is a plus.
• Excellent English communication and remote-team collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM preferred.
• Familiarity with C4 architecture and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Translate client needs into clear technical requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines and resources using Monday.com.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget.
• Ensure adherence to Way of Working: Lean UX, GTD workflows, and C4 model.
• Communicate progress and risks to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and satisfaction.
• Contribute to process improvements.
• Perform enterprise data modeling tasks.
