Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Technical Business Analyst for Investment Systems to modernize investment data and reporting. Hybrid work in Hartford, CT with a focus on analyzing, documenting, and improving critical data flows and processes while migrating the data warehouse to Google Cloud.

You will translate complex business and technical requirements into clear documentation, support data governance, and enable AI-enabled analytics in a high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IS, CS, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in business analysis, data warehousing, reporting, analytics, or related areas.
• SQL skills with complex queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Experience documenting processes, requirements, and technical specs.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data governance, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and data flows.
• Document and validate business rules, calculations, and reporting logic.
• Create data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, and data lineage artifacts.
• Support data warehouse modernization and migration to Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve data quality, governance, and reporting.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, interviews, testing, and data validation.
• Help establish foundation for AI-enabled data solutions.
