Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Sr BI Engineer in Hartford, CT to act as a trusted analytics advisor to the CFO organization, surfacing critical financial insights and delivering decision-ready recommendations.
You will work across data sources, apply statistical reasoning, and shape analytics for enterprise-wide impact, including evolving AI-enabled analytics capabilities and mentoring junior analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field.
- 5+ years in finance analytics translating data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in SQL with Python or R in analytics.
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and cloud databases.
Responsibilities
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in data and distill them into actionable insights for leadership.
- Explore AI-enabled analytics capabilities and evolve how insights are delivered beyond dashboards.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to shape analytical priorities and impact.
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to develop analytics products from scope to deployment.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to design robust semantic data sources.
- Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and continuously improved through automation.
- Provide mentorship and code reviews to junior analysts.
