Job summary

Activision Central Technology’s CTX group is a team of artists, scientists, and engineers collaborating with Activision studios to develop pioneering workflows for game content creation.

We offer photoreal asset pipelines and opportunities to influence both established brands and unannounced future titles, with a hybrid Beatrice Street Studio presence in Los Angeles. Remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• College degree in Animation/CG or equivalent experience in the game industry.
• Knowledge of photography, photogrammetry, model cleanup and texturing.
• Experience with FACS, facial performance animation, motion capture and character rigging.

Responsibilities

• Work with artists, engineers, supervisors, and producers to identify asset needs for modeling and animation.
• Prepare for and attend photo, scan, and motion capture shoots.
• Clean, enhance, and QC raw scan and capture data.
• Manage day-to-day pipeline issues and drive creative fixes.
• Assist in designing, developing and supporting asset creation pipelines and tools.
• Contribute to long-term R&D and short-term production support.
