Qualifications

• 4+ years PR agency experience.
• Strong media relations experience with established and emerging media outlets.
• Demonstrated client and project management experience.
• Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, and verbal communication skills.
• Strategic and creative mindset with strong research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Experience managing or mentoring team members is strongly valued.
• Genuine interest in technology, startups, venture capital, media, and emerging trends.
• Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships and provide exceptional account and project management from kickoff through successful campaign execution.
• Develop and execute thoughtful communications strategies aligned with client business goals.
• Lead client meetings, manage priorities, coordinate teams, and ensure high-quality day-to-day execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with reporters, editors, influencers, and other media contacts.
• Develop creative media pitches and identify opportunities across established and emerging outlets.
• Write compelling press releases, briefing materials, backgrounders, Q&As, contributed content, award submissions, speaking materials, and other communications.
• Conduct deep research and translate complex information, data, and trends into engaging stories.
• Use data and insights to uncover media-worthy narratives and strengthen client campaigns.
• Collaborate with leadership on creative brainstorming, new business opportunities, branding, digital, social media, and integrated marketing initiatives.
• Mentor and support team members while taking increasing ownership of people and projects.
• Stay current on technology, media trends, AI tools, and the evolving communications landscape.
