Job summary

FleishmanHillard in San Francisco seeks a Senior Account Executive or Account Supervisor to join its technology advisory practice. This hybrid role focuses on authentic storytelling for enterprise tech, telecom, and hardware clients to build stakeholder confidence.

You will develop strategies, nurture media relationships, and translate complex innovations into clear, differentiated positioning while coordinating across teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of PR or communications agency experience with strong knowledge of technology and business fundamentals.
• Proven passion for media relations with a track record of securing media coverage in tech, hardware, telecom, and business media.
• Excellent project management and collaborative skills, coordinating multiple work streams and mentoring junior team members.
• Experience executing campaigns across earned, owned, social, and digital channels.
• Ability to use research and data to inform strategic recommendations and measure results.
• Strong written and verbal communication, crafting client messaging and presenting in meetings.
• Self‑motivated, proactive problem solver focused on client success and day‑to‑day delivery.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior team to develop and execute communications strategies for mid‑market and enterprise technology, telecom, and hardware clients.
• Build and maintain media relationships with journalists in technology and business media.
• Develop messaging frameworks and storytelling angles translating complex tech into clear positioning.
• Manage day‑to‑day client relationships and guide clients toward effective communication strategies.
• Develop messaging strategies and pitch angles highlighting the 'why' behind positioning with clarity.
• Lead the execution of integrated campaigns across PR, digital, social, and employee communications.
• Research and analyze market trends to identify opportunities and address competitive challenges.
• Support account growth by identifying opportunities for integrated communications across product launches and stakeholder engagement.
