Job summary

Raymond James seeks a Senior Technology Trainer to develop and deliver education on our proprietary technology and third-party applications used by advisors and branch professionals. This role blends in-person and virtual instruction to improve adoption and productivity across the firm.

You will collaborate with product teams to create plans, materials, and engaging sessions, travel 65-70% of the time to field offices and events, and support learning initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Finance, Education, or Computer Science preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years corporate learning and development experience preferred.
• Experience with in-person and virtual training.
• Experience with managing education plans.
• Experience with content creation.
• Experience collaborating with technology development teams on adoption strategies.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain deep knowledge of our technology platform and supported applications.
• Conduct professional, custom, interactive virtual and in-person classes on proprietary Raymond James’ Technology and 3rd party applications.
• Model and use instructional tech and adult education practices in classroom and online.
• Lead or collaborate on needs analyses, create education plans and develop education solutions for various audiences.
• Create high quality, engaging education and presentation materials using PowerPoint and Photoshop.
• Develop instructor and classroom materials (outlines, facilitator guides, student materials, training aids).
• Update educational materials to reflect enhancements and new releases.
