Job summary

ZEISS Group in Wixom, MI (hybrid) is seeking an enthusiastic 1st level technical support specialist for Zeiss CMM hardware. You will resolve customer issues via ticketing systems, CRM workflows, and direct communication, while collaborating with internal teams on service repairs and quotations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in tech support and a technical degree, with strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills. Travel <10% for training or visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates or technical degree preferred in an engineering or related field.
• Experience in technical support and/or software application for at least 2 years preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level technical support for Zeiss CMM hardware.
• Collaborate with service engineers and deployment coordinators.
• Prepare service quotations and assist in quoting unplanned services.
• Document issues and help transition service workflows to appropriate teams.
• Support Quality and Tools dept and escalate calls per procedures.
