SoftWriters, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Pittsburgh. This role focuses on troubleshooting, configuring, deploying, and upgrading the SoftWriters suite for LTC pharmacies.

You’ll collaborate with IT partners and cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and ensure data security and performance. The ideal candidate has a IT-focused bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years of technical customer support experience, and strong knowledge of IIS, SQL databases,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent education required.
• Minimum 2 years in technical customer support or related field.
• Solid knowledge of IIS, SQL databases, RESTful APIs and JSON/XML.

Responsibilities

• Uncover customer goals and troubleshoot high-level issues.
• Advise on best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze customer architecture to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with product and development to resolve escalated inquiries.
• Serve as SME for IT infrastructure, performance, and security.
• Mentor analysts in complex troubleshooting.
• Explain solutions clearly without jargon.
• Document past inquiries to accelerate future resolution.
• Stay up to date on security trends and data mapping.
• Assist developers and product management with design recommendations.
