Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. invites a junior IT student to join a 10-week Summer Internship in Warren, NJ, with hybrid work (3 days in office, 2 remote). You’ll explore IT areas like data analytics, IT risk, cyber security, and cloud modernization, collaborating on cross-functional projects and presenting to management.

The program runs May 31, 2027 – August 6, 2027. The weekly pay is $1,000, with benefits including health insurance, 401k match, paid holidays, and PTO.

Qualifications

• You are a junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with documenting business processes; leadership or campus involvement is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SQL Server, Excel VBA, R and/or Python a plus.
• Power BI or other data visualization experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on IT project teams, participating in requirements gathering, analysis, designing solutions, creating specifications, assembling presentations, solution development and testing.
• Partner with business SMEs to transform processes into automated digital solutions.
• Elicit and document requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Research, analyze data, identify challenges and provide recommendations.
• Assist with dashboard design to track data visibility and leakage.
