Job summary

Everest Group in Warren, NJ is launching the 2027 Claims Summer Internship Program. This 10-week, hybrid internship runs May 31, 2027 – August 6, 2027, offering exposure to Property & Casualty Reinsurance and Insurance through training, real-world projects, and networking with industry experts.

You will support Claims leaders, participate in meetings and client visits, and work on industry research projects while gaining hands-on experience with AI tools to enhance decision-making.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication, analytical, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Leadership or involvement in campus clubs/activities.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Claims leaders across a multi-class portfolio.
• Participate in meetings and prepare presentations on high-value, complex losses.
• Attend client visits and audits to develop investigative skills.
• Collaborate on research projects using industry data sources.
• Engage in leader-led events and cross-functional projects; develop professionally.
• Gain hands-on experience with AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency.
