Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Technology Project Manager in Jersey City, NJ to lead technology projects end-to-end, coordinating with business stakeholders, architects, and client teams for defined scope, timelines, and delivery. You will create plans, budgets, risk mitigations, and status reports across cross-functional groups.

The role requires agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery experience, strong communication, and the ability to drive governance and continuous improvement in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing technology projects in corporate, consulting, or client-facing environments.
• 3+ years of experience planning, scheduling, budgeting, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong ability to facilitate meetings and present status updates to stakeholders.
• Experience identifying and escalating project risks and issues.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience using MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of technology projects.
• Define scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Establish governance, reporting, and communication processes.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and obstacles.
• Facilitate meetings and updates for steering committees and stakeholders.
• Track progress against milestones and escalate delivery-impacting issues.
• Coordinate resources across cross-functional teams for execution.
• Support change management, QA, and acceptance activities.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC and organizational standards.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Present status updates and metrics to leadership.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices.
