Lyft’s Central TPM team drives high-impact product and tech initiatives from concept to launch. You will co-own strategy with Product and Engineering, lead cross-functional delivery, and shape roadmaps for acquisitions and partnerships.

The role requires deep technical know-how and the ability to navigate ambiguity while aligning stakeholders across the company. expected base pay in San Francisco is $148,000–$185,000 annually, with equity/bonus potential and benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Technical Program Management or a TPM/PM hybrid role.
• Background in software engineering, systems engineering, or data science.
• Experience delivering programs on large-scale production systems.
• Ability to operate autonomously in significant ambiguity, with only high-level direction.
• Strong dependency and risk management and the ability to influence in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Co-own program strategy with Product and Engineering, and influence roadmap tradeoffs.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of top-priority cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch.
• Develop and execute integration roadmaps for acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
• Define program governance, roles, escalation paths, and communication plans.
• Anticipate risks, drive mitigation plans, and resolve blockers.
• Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to engineers and the C-suite.
• Present data-backed options to decision makers and drive closure.
• Contribute to team health by mentoring TPMs and supporting recruiting.
