Job summary
Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking an Intermediate Technical Architectural Designer for its New York City office or Maitland, FL location. The role involves site surveys, code reviews, and full construction documentation, with coordination across clients, landlords, and consultants.
Qualified candidates have a BA in Architecture (MA a plus), 5–8 years in corporate/commercial interiors, and expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree a plus.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of continuous professional technical experience in Corporate/Commercial Workplace Interiors
- Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Responsibilities
- Site survey and documentation
- General site code review (egress, fixture counts, path of travel)
- Assist with budget scope drawings and specifications
- Technical coordination with design team
- Full construction documentation including detailing and specifications
- Coordinate with client, landlord, and consultants
- Review shop drawings and submittals
- Attend weekly project meetings and respond to RFIs
- Site inspections and layout approvals
- Coordinate revisions, bulletins and addenda
- Support project close-out documentation
