Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in New York, NY is seeking an Intermediate Technical Architectural Designer for either the NYC or Maitland, FL location. The role requires strong Revit and AutoCAD proficiency, knowledge of NYC building codes and zoning, and 5–8 years in corporate/commercial interiors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; MA a plus.
• 5–8 years of continuous professional technical experience in Corporate/Commercial Workplace/ Retail Banking Interiors.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of contract documents and standards; x-refs, layers and layer management.
• Knowledge of NYC Building Codes and NYC Zoning.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Site surveys and documentation of conditions.
• Assist with preparation of budget scope drawings and specifications.
• Technical coordination with the design team.
• Produce full construction documentation including detailing and specifications.
• Coordinate with client, landlord, and consultants.
• Redline review of construction documents; issue and distribute.
• Respond to questions from bidders and attend project meetings.
• Site inspections and layout approvals; manage revisions and addenda.
• Assist in project close-out documentation.
