Whittlesey in Hartford, Connecticut, is seeking a Tax Manager to join its Tax team in a hybrid role, alternating between remote office work and client locations, to support clients with sophisticated tax planning and compliance.

You will lead strategic client planning, manage tax engagement budgets, assist with billings and write-offs, coordinate large engagements, and help identify additional services through referrals while upholding the firm’s collaborative culture.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• CPA license required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Engage in strategic client planning and tax recommendations.
• Manage budgets for tax engagements and ensure profitability.
• Assist with client billings and write-offs as needed.
• Represent clients in IRS matters before tax authorities.
• Coordinate phases of large tax engagements and staffing.
• Utilize analytics to monitor budgets and firm profitability.
