Job summary

BPM is seeking a Resource Management Specialist to align talent with business needs across the organization. You will partner with business leaders, HR, and employees to support staffing, utilization, workload balancing, and workforce planning.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional services environment. This role requires strong relationship-building, sound judgment, and the ability to balance business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 2–3+ years of experience in professional services, project management, workforce planning, or a related field; or 1–2+ years of direct resource management, resource planning, or scheduling experience.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement, ask effective questions, and respectfully challenge staffing requests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resource planning and staffing activities to support efficient deployment of employees across engagements, projects, and teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely resource information within scheduling tools and reinforce centralized RM processes.
• Monitor employee utilization, availability, workload, and progress toward chargeable-hour goals.
• Identify staffing gaps and balance workloads across teams.
• Onboard and train new colleagues on scheduling processes and tools.
• Lead and facilitate scheduling discussions with business leaders to identify resource needs and resolve conflicts.
