Job summary

State Farm in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment, source passive talent, advise hiring managers, assess candidates, and close offers in a competitive market.

You will build strong pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools, lead kickoff meetings with managers, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience while tracking metrics to improve recruiting results.

Qualifications

• At least three years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates through direct sourcing and networks.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and pipelines while meeting deadlines and providing strong candidate service.
• Strong knowledge of talent acquisition practices including sourcing strategy, interviewing, evaluation, and closing.
• Proven ability to build relationships and consult with hiring managers and business leaders.
• Strong candidate assessment and negotiation skills for offer acceptance.
• Proficiency with ATS, sourcing platforms, and data-driven recruiting improvements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project-management skills with knowledge of compliant recruiting practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for multiple requisitions, including kickoff, sourcing, screening, interview planning, candidate selection, offer negotiation, and hiring.
• Lead kickoff meetings with hiring managers to define requirements, candidate profiles, sourcing strategies, interview processes, and timelines.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean searches, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Conduct structured candidate screens to evaluate skills, experience, and compensation expectations.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders on talent availability and market conditions.
• Build and maintain active pipelines to reach qualified talent from diverse backgrounds.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and effective offer negotiation.
• Maintain recruiting records and use metrics to evaluate and improve results.
