Job summary

CACI is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager for Systems Integration in Austin, TX. The role leads a team responsible for pre-mission configuration management and post-mission data workflows to support warfighter operations.

The candidate will supervise development, deployment, and maintenance of existing software systems, drive policy compliance, and optimize legacy applications for cybersecurity. A TS/SCI clearance is required or possible to obtain.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ years hands-on Linux and scripting experience.
Understanding of software design concepts, patterns and best practices.
Basic virtualization, containerization, and configuring hypervisors (ESXi, KVM).
Basic understanding of distributed systems and networking automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Helm or Kubernetes.
Experience working in Agile development teams.
Willing to travel ~10% and work onsite in Austin, TX.
Willing and able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance (current preferred).

Responsibilities

Execute engineering and development of solutions to support operational capabilities.
Refine and enhance existing applications to meet customer requirements.
Optimize legacy operational software to meet evolving cybersecurity requirements.
Apply system knowledge to diagnose issues and provide solutions.
Profile, analyze, and optimize legacy software systems.
Travel onsite to assist with integration of operational systems and updates as needed.
