CACI International Inc. is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager - Systems Integration to lead a team delivering mission-focused infrastructure, configuration management, and data workflows that support warfighters.

The role blends people leadership with software engineering, requiring Linux scripting, virtualization, containers, and Agile practices. Travel up to 10% and a hybrid schedule with onsite work in Austin, TX are expected; TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
3+ years hands-on experience with Linux and scripting languages.
Understanding of software design concepts, patterns, tools and best practices.
Basic understanding of virtualization, containerization, and hypervisor software (ESXi, KVM).
Familiar with distributed systems and networking automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Helm or Kubernetes.
Experience in Agile development teams.
Willing to travel ~10% of the time.
Willing to work a hybrid schedule with onsite in Austin, TX.
Willing and able to obtain TS/SCI clearance; current TS/SCI preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise a team that builds, deploys, configures, and maintains existing software systems.
Set goals and ensure policy/workflow compliance by direct reports.
Develop and deploy solutions to support operational capabilities.
Refine and enhance applications to meet customer requirements.
Optimize legacy software to meet evolving cybersecurity requirements.
Apply system knowledge to diagnose issues and provide solutions.
Profile, analyze, and optimize legacy systems.
Travel onsite to assist with integration and updates.
