Job summary
Type One Energy Group in Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer - Software Integration to support the development of our stellarator fusion energy technologies. You will collaborate across Physics, Design Engineering, Manufacturing and Project Management to integrate software with hardware.
The role requires at least 5 years of related experience, experience with Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML, and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- MS or BS in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years designing complex hardware-software integration systems.
- Experience with system design methodologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate functional analysis, requirements development and interface management.
- Support system integration across engineering disciplines and partners.
- Ensure configuration management and change control in modeling activities.
- Support design reviews and risk assessments with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate attention to detail in cross-functional design activities.
- Integrate systems engineering with software in Cameo Modeling environments.
