Job summary

GE Aerospace in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Systems Engineer – Product Integration to drive cross-functional systems engineering across the product lifecycle. You will translate business and technical requirements into integrated solutions, manage requirements, interfaces, validation planning, and risk control, and support configuration and delivery across teams.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (in-office Tue–Thu) with an extensive relocation package for eligible candidates and a base pay

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or 6 years in a relevant function).
• Experience in systems engineering, product integration, requirements management, or related disciplines.
• Able to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support system integration across components, modules, and products for performance and compliance.
• Manage system and product requirements with traceability and alignment across owners and partners.
• Drive validation and verification planning, execution support, and evidence closure.
• Define and communicate product requirements for modules and external partners.
• Manage interfaces between components and teams to ensure integrated development and program success.
• Balance technical performance, quality, cost, and schedule through CTQ/risk trades with design teams.
• Oversee overall product configuration and support configuration management processes.
• Apply engineering knowledge to execute work per policies and business objectives.
• Collaborate across teams to support planning, execution, issue resolution and on-time delivery.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members and foster a collaborative environment.
